It really had no specific purpose in the foyer other than to proudly stand as a contemporary piece of 20th century American . pottery. , contrasting boldly with the painted white walls and the green floor. ...
Q. i need ideas for masters/doctorate in the study of prehistoric/medieval pottery in ireland. I want to specialise in pottery but need to think of an interesting area to base my dissertation on. I need to get 2-3 years work out of the topic though. Scientific ideas are welcome. Im not asking for people to think of a topic for me, just throw some ideas at me so i can get thinking about different areas of research. Thanks!

A. This sounds like a great project - some ideas I had: Glazes - colours, minerals/dyes, and decorative motifs Methods of pot turning - construction of wheels etc.
